MasterCard invites Swedish startups into it’s accelerator program

MasterCard Europe have once again opened up for applications to it’s financial startup incubator Mastercard Start Path. Innovative startups and entrepreneurs from all over Europe are invited to apply by 19 February 2015.

Mastercard Start Path is a startup incubator for European companies in technology, trade and finance. For 12 months, participants are given tailored support by MasterCard’s experts, access to the company’s global partner network and the ability to develop solutions using MasterCard’s API’s and supporting technology.

“Start Path provides each participating business support tailored to their specific challenges and access to a worldwide network of experts and partners relevant to their industry,” said Bart Willaert, regional manager for MasterCard in the Nordic and Baltic countries. “Sweden has long distinguished itself as a innovation hub internationally and we hope to Start Path can become an accelerator that helps these Swedish entrepreneurs to achieve success faster.”

  • The participant companies will get a unique access to Mastercards partners, API:s and senior technical and financial guidance.
  • The program is both on-site (Dublin) and remote (in their hometown)
  • Up to 8 companies will be chosen for the 2015 program.
