Auxy, the Stockholm based startup who have built an iPad app for electronic music creation have announced they’ve been selected for inclusion amongst the Apple App Store’s “annual best of” list.
For a company who launched just over a month ago, that’s fairly impressive. Since launching, the company claim to have recorded over 500,000 downloads of the app, and have received good feedback from both beginners and professionals – helping to dissolve worries over who exactly the app is targeting.
Auxy’s founder Henrik Lenberg commented:
“It’s been a fantastic launch. More than half a million people have tried Auxy in just a month. For a lot of them it’s the first time they’ve made their own music”, says Henrik Lenberg, co-founder of Auxy. “Our goal is to remove any technical barriers and open up music creation to a wider audience. Success so far with both beginners and professionals shows that simplified tools can enable a completely new generation of music creators.”
