Uppsala Hackathon is an initiative started by young entrepreneurs in Uppsala (“Förenade IT-Entreprenörer i Uppsala”). The event is open for anyone who would like to participate and is targeted to companies, individuals and students. First off, you don’t need to be a programmer to attend the event. Second, we were there last year, so grab a cup of coffee and read about our experience.
The event will take place on November 23rd at Uppsala castle where designers, programmers and other creative people will join forces. The theme for the 12-hour long Hackathon is “running free”.
The organizers are hoping that people from all sorts of industries will come and work together, and really stresses the fact that you don’t need to be a programmer to attend. Partners for the event is Uppsala county (Uppsala Kommun) and Connectel.
Date: November 23rd, starts at 08:00 and ends at 22:00 (breakfast, lunch and dinner is provided)
