We are increasingly connecting things to the Internet creating the Internet of Things. In just a couple of years, it is supposed to include billions of connected devices. The rapid IoT development creates interesting opportunities and now you can help build the Internet of Things!
EIT ICT Labs is launching a pan-European Idea Challenge to give people with great, innovative ideas the opportunity to take them to the next step. The ideas could be tools, platforms and service enablement, including general services and devices.
An impressive jury will decide which of ten finalists will win €40 000, €25 000 and €15 000 and receive support from EIT ICT Labs’ extensive network of experts. The pitch final will take place in Kista, Stockholm on November 13.
The contest is open to all creative individuals, entrepreneurs and innovators across Europe, and ideas can submitted September 1-30 on the Idea Challenge website .
The IoT Idea Challenge jury consists of:
- Jane Walerud, Serial Tech Entrepreneur and Angel Investor
- Marlène Sellebråten, Editor-in-chief Mobil:Business
- Erik Ramberg, CEO, Springworks
- Tarja zu dem Berge, CEO ALMI Invest Småland och Öarna

You can apply to more than one competition. In each area, three winners will be announced. Visit the Idea Challenge website for more information.
