Meet Superprints, another company trying to revive the dying physical photo medium. Are they crazy?

Let’s be honest. Do people really print out photos anymore?  With that said though, flipping through an album of old photos has a nostalgic feeling which you can never get on a social network. Superprints is another company who want to revive this dying medium, and brings those photos right to your doorstep. Copygram and Postify are another two Swedish startups tackling this problem.

Superprints is an online service that will print Instagram photos and deliver them within a couple of days, anywhere in Europe. The photos are printed on 10X10 cm, Fujicolor Supreme HD paper. All you need is to log into your Instagram and pick the best ones you want to print and make your order.

I don’t know about this one. On the one hand, I buy the idea of photo-album-induced-nostalgia and the benefit of having great memories stored in a physical medium. However, whether or not the company will be able to build a significant business is another question all together. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
