The Zennström Green Mentorship Award is pleased to announce a call for applications for this year’s competition. For the 2014/2015 programme new partners Cleantech Inn, Serendipity Innovations, Venture Cup and VINNOVA will provide additional business development support and business mentorship to 4 winners. The overall winner will receive personal mentorship from Niklas Zennström as well as prize money from VINNOVA.
To date, Niklas Zennström has personally mentored pioneering Swedish startups such as Rehact, Orbital Systems and most recently, Clean Motion. Based on the success of the mentorship of these startups, Zennström Philanthropies have decided to expand the Zennström Green Mentorship Award programme to further support the entrepreneurial clean technology ecosystem in Sweden by targeting more entrepreneurs at a specific stage when they are in critical need of business development to scale their technology. The aim of the programme is to provide these startups with mentorship and tailored business development advice to ensure they are more market-and investor-ready by the end of the year and therefore achieve a level of scale that can be disruptive or even transformative in years to come.
The Zennström Green Mentorship Award is seeking clean tech Swedish entrepreneurs who are looking for tailored business development advice and mentorship, seeking networking and meeting opportunities with potential customers and are willing to be part of a leading network of clean tech startups.
