Gastrofy from Gothenburg has successfully closed a seed investment of $456K

Gastrofy has successfully closed a seed investment of 3 million SEK. Cronus Invest led the investment, together with the U.S based company 1Apeiron. With the additional capital Gastrofy will hire key personnel and continue develop their value proposition.

Gastrofy aims to be the long-term solution for healthy meal planning by recommending personalised recipes based on taste and dietery needs. Everything one click from home delivery. “We love the simplicity with the grocery box model, but we believe that “one size fits all” isn’t applicable with food. Everyone has their own preferences and we aim to satisfy them in a personalised way.” Says Robin Rendahl, co-founder and CEO of Gastrofy.

Sweden is the birthplace for the grocery box model, and many tech success stories like Skype, Spotify and Klarna. This makes Sweden the perfect starting market for Gastrofy. Gastrofy has partnered with the Swedish grocery chain COOP, that today handle the packing and delivering of the groceries.
