Written by on December 5, 2013

Northzone, a Nordic based VC firm who have invested in companies such as Spotify, Pricerunner and iZettle are today announcing Northzone VII – a €150 million fund to help support and foster Nordic technology companies. VII is Northzone’s largest fund to date, signaling just how hot the Nordic startup scene is right now.

The Nordic tech region is attracting more and more interest from outside investors, but Northzone believes that it’s historical knowledge of ‘Nordic tech DNA’ and strong local presence should make them an attractive partner for growing companies.

Hans Otterling, Northzone partner in the Stockholm office added: “Being truly committed to addressing large global opportunities, from an early stage or at a more mature stage, has made Northzone the premier partner of choice for so many world class entrepreneurs. We look forward to continuing to deliver value.”
