We wrote about Swedish ad-tech startup Bannerflow a few months back – at the time they were preparing for their US launch. For those who haven’t heard of Bannerflow, essentially it’s a cloud-based banner management tool. It lets creatives create, manage and track their banner campaigns, and the company claim it reduces time spend on banners by 95%. Well, they’ve now launched in the US and have a couple of big brands using their service – in addition to the very impressive list of Swedish clients that includes Betsson, Vera&John, Mr Green and Betsafe.
In addition, they’ve announced a couple of critical hires – which should help the team accelerate their US expansion. Fredrik Rubin joins Bannerflow as European Sales Manager and comes from a sales-intensive background at Screen Interaction and IBM. Sebastian Scheur joins as Head of Online Marketing , and was previously at successful-but-under-the-radar startup Netigate.
CEO Daniel Fahlen commented:
We are extremely proud f our new team members. They bring a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to our company, and we’re happy to have them on the team. Rubin is an incredibly talented salesperson with the unique ability to understand our technology as well. In addition, Sebastian’s hire is a great validation for us – and our value proposition.
