It’s that time again. Internetworld are looking for Sweden’s hottest internet entrepreneurs for 2013. I caught up with Fredrik Wass, freelance editor for Internetworld and also one of the people responsible for this competition and list.
Fredrik, what do you and the jury look for in a company/entrepreneur?
We’re looking for people and companies with huge potential and web based solutions to both new and old problems. You don’t have to have a huge customer base or even started making money yet. It’s the early stage innovations and people with driving force to make them happen that will get our attention. For instance, companies like Spotify and Videoplaza have all been on our ranking list at a really early stage, before anyone actually knew how successful they might become. Last years winner was Tictail for example.
We salute a solid business model but even entrepreneurs running startups without a working revenue model could get into the ranking list if the idea or solution is highly innovative and groundbreaking.
The last date to apply is September 8th and you can fill out the form here.
Note: Thanks for Erika Gerdemark for the great photo of Fredrik.
