The Swedish approach to being humble and thinking global is something that many of the competing clusters should take notice of. Instead of focussing on hype and marketing, in Stockholm the Swedes have built a solid base of talent and profitable businesses, a lesson we could all learn from.
Launched in 2010, the FundedByMe team has now grown to 14 staff, working from offices in Stockholm, Helsinki, Madrid, Oslo, Copenhagen and, as of late September, Berlin. Today, it has funded hundreds of projects, raising over €3m in investments from 25,500 people.
