Sweden Social Web Camp: An ‘unconference’ for the future of the Internet

Written by on July 30, 2013

Sweden Social Web Camp is Sweden’s largest conference for discussions around the social web and the future of the Internet. Since its inception in 2009, the conference has attracted around 400 participants each year – a mix of web entrepreneurs, startups, bloggers, developers, social media managers and media representatives.

Sweden Social Web Camp has been described as one of the most progressive events for the Swedish Internet scene and has even been called the ‘Almedalen’ for technology. The event is held on Tjärö.

The agenda follows that of an ‘uncoference’, where the agenda is largely formulated ‘on the spot’, and all participants are encouraged to speak and hold sessions in the topic they are passionate about.

SSWC 2013 will be held August 15 to 18 and you can buy tickets here.
