Postify – who we wrote about back in May have announced this week that they’ve entered partnerships with two impressive brands – Scandic and Norwegian Airlines. Postify have developed an app that turns your digital images into real-postcards – and will send them for around 2 EUR. Over the last few months however, Postify have been working hard on their b2b angle – and Postify believe that allowing customers to send postcards opens up a fresh new marketing channel for brands to interact with their customers in. Brands will be hoping that Postify helps to engage their customers in social media – whilst also gaining valuable brand exposure.
Scandic and Postify have started a campaign that allows Scandic customers to send vacation postcards to friends and family – free of charge.
The postcards from Postify Postcards with a personalized holiday greeting is the perfect way to give our friends a chance to share their experiences with their loved ones, while we have the chance to reach out in a way that really stands out in the flow of information, says Karin Hellgren, PR and Communications Manager at Scandic Sweden.
The Norwegian campaign is similar to the Scandic one – Norwegian customers are able to send free postcards to friends and family – something the airline hopes will be perceived as a nice gesture – and also engage their customers in social media.
The aim of the campaign is to make a great summer activity for our travellers and fans on Facebook. We hope that the service will engage customers in social media, and that it is perceived as a nice “gesture” from us, says Stine Steffensen Borke, Marketing Director at Norwegian.
