Today I’m talking with Alicja Chlebna, CEO and co-founder of Groomingbox.com.

Hi Alicja, tell us about yourself and your background

I’m originally from Warsaw and graduated with a Masters in Business Management. Since moving to Sweden two years ago, I’ve worked as the Brand Manager for Phenome Costmetics, worked in retail for Åhlens and also worked with marketing for Alfa Romeo.

So what is Groomingbox?

Groomingbox is the world’s first online global subscription for Men within fashion & grooming. Each box consists of hand-selected grooming products including razors, shaving products, skincare, fragrances and apparel. Everything is carefully assembled and each box has a theme. The first box is themed “The Great Gatsby”.

This is a crowded space – what makes you unique?

Many of online subscription-based services are providing only samples. We are the first online subscription company that offers rare & new brands from the world market. The “shelf”, from which we pick up products, is the ‘top shelf’. This is what makes us unique. We offer high-end brands based on a proper quality and good price.

Where do you see Groomingbox in 3 years?

Our aim is to be the leading online subscription-based service in the global market. The reason is simple. We deliver no doubt the best , ultimate and high-end products to our customers.

Groomingbox takes advantage of this niche and provide men with the very best products in the market. Men need grooming essentials which contain shaving and skin care every day. Men don’t have time to go for shopping and generally don’t like visiting the big shopping malls. If they go – many of them don’t know what to choose! It’s a real nightmare for them. We want to make life easier for men by saving his time and money! For our partners it is a great marketing opportunity since they reach the male customers and also market new products through our online service.
