Postify now available in the App Store – turns your digital photos into real postcards

Written by on May 2, 2013

We’ve written about Postify before and now their iOS app is available in the app store. Postify are a company based out of Stockholm that want to breathe new life into a medium that has largely been left behind. Essentially, users can turn their digital photos into real postcards and the best part – you don’t even need to buy the stamp. Postify create and send your postcards for you, for around 2 EUR – which seems pretty fair.

In my opinion, the company’s biggest problem was the lack of iOS app as I think many users would love the ability to take a photo on their phone, and send a postcard straight away. The iOS app should solve that problem and hopefully lead to more user engagement.

”Postcards will be a more interactive medium than before. By connecting it with social media like Facebook and Instagram, we are letting people use their own personal images to create real postcards”, says Fredrik Schöön, CEO and co-founder of Postify Postcards.
