We’ve written about ‘hacking for a good cause’ before (here and here) and now there is another event on the horizon that hopes to bring hackers together in the name of helping others. Health Hack Day is an event put together in an effort to create the ‘future of Life Sciences and fitness’. The three main categories are healthcare, self-care and wellness. Hackers will have 24 hours to create their product and the winner will have the chance to present their creation at Digital Health Days in August.
The event is May 17-19, it’s free and will be hosted at the Victoria Tower in Kista. Sign up here!
From the Health Hack Day website:
A weekend hackathon for soft- and hardware hackers, designers, researchers, entrepreneurs and business developers that participate in the creation of the future of Life Science and Fitness.
Health Hack Day is an exciting opportunity to learn, meet and have fun.
We start Friday afternoon with presentations, networking and a beer or two in the evening. Saturday starts with breakfast, lunch and the beginning of the competition. The contestants create for 24 intense hours to deliver the winner in each category, and will have the opportunity to present the result for the jury during Sunday afternoon. There will be great prizes as well as a chance to showcase during Digital Health Days at Stockholmsmässan in August.
