Meltwater acquires Stockholm-based Oculusai

Oculusai, a leader in image recognition and machine learning technology, have been acquired by Meltwater, the analytics/monitoring company. Oculusai – born out of research conducted at Stockholm’s Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) deliver “state-of-the-art image recognition and processing technology” and have developed an array of impressive products including face recognition, product recognition and even ‘adult-image’ recognition for moderation purposes.

Meltwater have acquired both assets and team, and the Oculusai team wil be joining Meltwater in the Stockholm office.
