Helping Hack – Connecting organisations and hackers for a good cause

Written by on March 17, 2013

Patrik Stenmark, Johannes Edelstam and Linda Mattsson are three Swedish entrepreneurs who want to help non-for-profit organisations with their digital strategies. Many non-for-profit organisations struggle with their digital presence and the Helping Hack team want to change that.

The event is taking place on the 24-25th May and they’re currently taking applications of interest from non-profit organisations and seem to have a couple lined up already.

During the event – creatives and representatives from the organisations will come together and come up with ways to improve their digital strategies – and then do their best to execute on those ideas in as little time as possible. Examples include iPhone apps, new websites or even new branding – whatever is needed, the creatives will do their best to provide it.

This really is a great idea and a great chance for Stockholm’s best hackers, designers and web-people to get together to do something good for companies that put a lot of effort into doing good.

If you want to find out more, check out the website, or get in touch with Patrik, Johannes or Linda – the organisers of the event.
